Welcome to Gather. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gather ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Gather application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

3.4 Meeting Safety Guidelines When meeting other users in person, you agree to:

  • Meet initially in public places

  • Inform friends or family of your meeting plans

  • Remain in control of your own transportation

  • Trust your instincts and leave if you feel uncomfortable

  • Report inappropriate behavior to Gather and relevant authorities

3.5 No Commercial Use You agree not to use the Service for commercial purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Soliciting other users for business opportunities

  • Any harm or damages resulting from user interactions

  • You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users

  • You will take reasonable precautions when meeting other users

  • You will report any concerning behavior or safety issues to appropriate authorities and to Gather

6.3 Emergency Services We may contact emergency services or law enforcement if we believe there is a genuine risk of physical harm or public safety concern. You agree that we may disclose your information to law enforcement or other authorities if we believe such disclosure is reasonably necessary.

6.4 No Verification Guarantee While we may implement various verification processes, we do not guarantee:

  • The identity of any user

  • The accuracy of user-provided information

  • The safety of in-person meetings

  • The conduct of users

6.5 Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold Gather harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:
